I had to frog February Lady. It was about 3/4 complete.
Sigh. Good thing I’m more in it for the process than the product.
It was just too big, there was no getting around it. There was way too much material under the arms. If I’m going to like a sweater made from heavy yarn, it has to have negative ease, and I forgot that somehow.
Take Two is well underway.

Oh – too bad! But better to frog and start again than have a too-big sweater that never gets worn.
Courage!
Oh no! *Hugs*
Oh no. I had to frog my FLS last year but I was only about 1/3 of the way through. Mine was too small.
Oh no, that’s always disappointing. I hope the second version works out …
Strong move! And smart too. I usually go the denial route and that never ends well.
I think that is a very common FLS problem! When my sister made one I suggested leaving off the yo’s on the sleeves. It took some pattern math to figure it out but the sleeves fit MUCH better.
I cried a little bit inside when I heard there was massive frogging.
But I am glad that it’s now almost a sweater.
Oh man…that really bites! I once completed an entire sock, decided to go down a couple of needle sizes, and then reknit it after knitting the mate. That stunk too, so I feel your pain!
