I spun my first 4oz on Penelope in just a couple of days.
It is BFL in “tranquility” by The Painted Sheep. It is beautiful!
OK, so parts of it are overspun, or underspun, or overplied, or underplied.
But it’s a pretty good yarn for a beginner, right? I think it’ll look totally fine in a rustic application like lacy baktus. And the color is amazing! It’s like Kris could read my mind and make my exact favorite color.

yes! this is awesome beginner handspun. not beginner-looking at all! and i think it would be perfect in baktus form. lovely, lovely yarn.
WOW that’s beautiful! I’m just starting to spin – hope to be as good as you someday!
Looks great, Emilee! I love the colorway.
Beautiful colours and spinning!
Beautiful work and color!
Very pretty! Looks like you and Penelope will be quite the team
how many yards did you get and is it a two ply?
I think you’re doing a fantastic job, keep up the good work! I know “accomplished” spinners who put out stuff that doesn’t look this good.
Before you know it you’ll be putting out yarn that is exactly what you want, have no fear.
it looks great! i love the colors and it’ll make a wonderful baktus for sure.
