Meet Fiona

Fiona 008

A couple of weeks ago, this kitty took up residence under our porch.

She was very friendly with us and the other people in the building, coming onto the porch whenever we were out there. She clearly wanted a family, so we decided to let her live with us.

She’s very little, only 5.3 lbs. The vets think she’s between 6 and 12 months old, but there is a chance that she’s just a petite adult.

She’s basically healthy. We have to give her medicine for some kitty cold sores, but she’s doing well other than that. She also seems to trust us already, which is nice.

She has settled right in.

  1. What a wonderful thing you’re doing for this kitty. I’m in a similar situation right now. There’s a stray kitty that wants to belong to our family so badly. We’ve been feeding her and have given her a place to sleep but my husband doesn’t want to bring her into the house. I’ll wear him down eventually!

  2. Hello, Fiona!

Awww, what a little sweetie! My brother and his wife have one of those “petite adult” cats, about 5 pounds and mostly fluff.

  4. Awww, how adorable she is!! My little Gilda is a petite adult – she’s 16 and never got any bigger than 6 pounds. My other one is 15 pounds.

  5. She’s lovely. We have 5 cats (they seem to multiply as quickly as UFOs) and the smallest is 6 pounds of fluff and attitude! She keeps the others on their toes.
